WHAT KIND OF CHURCH IS THIS?

Southside Christian Church is an independent, non-denominational church.
We are friendly and welcoming, a church where we hope you will feel at home and grow in the love of Christ.
We aim to restore New Testament Christianity in the 21st Century culture as they did in the New Testament Church.

We hold the Bible alone as inspired by God and follow no man-made traditions (2 Timothy 3:16-17). The Bible is our only book and Christ is our only creed.
We practice baptism by immersion (Romans 6.1-11) and we observe the Lord’s Supper each week (Acts 20.7).
We believe sinners are saved by the Blood of Christ.

Will you embarrass me by asking me to stand?

NOPE, but we might talk to you and try to make you feel welcome.

Do I have to dress up to attend our worship service?

NOPE, dress up, dress down, just show up ready to worship God.

Do you want my money?

NOPE. We want you to have Jesus and He wants 100% of you.

Can a visitor take communion?

Anyone who believes in Jesus Christ is welcome to take communion, whether they are a church member or not.
